Calling an air duct cleaning an air duct cleaning is actually not describing the entire picture of what takes place when DuctVac Northwest does a cleaning.
Complete Aire Dict and HVAC Cleaning
In actuality, when we do the air duct cleaning, we make sure that the entire HVAC system is cleaned. The reason we do that is because failure to clean all components of the system can result in re-contamination of the entire system, thus minimizing the benefits of the air duct cleaning.
It is the same concept as cleaning only half of your bathroom floor. The dirty half would eventually make its way to the clean side and it would make cleaning only half of the floor completely pointless.
So you would not want to clean only part of your heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system, but the entire thing.
The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) recommends cleaning the entire HVAC system, including the following components:
- Air ducts
- Coils
- Drain pan
- Registers
- Grills
- Air plenum
- Blower motor and assembly
- Heat exchanger
- Air Filter
- Air Cleaner
As a member of NADCA, DuctVac Northwest does clean all of the components listed because we want our customers to experience the benefits of a complete and thorough cleaning.
